Jack Keller, 91, of Albany died Friday at his home.

He was born in Orrin, N.D., to Martin and Rosina (Heit) Keller. He grew up in North Dakota and farmed with his father until he entered the military. He served in
the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Albany in 1945 and had lived there since.

Jack married Agnes Bruner on Jan. 10, 1946, in Vancouver, Wash.

He was a building contractor in Albany. Jack and his partner Edwin "Shorty" Hill worked together under the company name of Keller & Hill for over 20 years. In 1972, Jack and his three sons formed Keller Development Co. and worked together until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, American Legion, Knights of Columbus and Albany Home Builders Association. He was a former member of the Elks Club and past president of St. Mary's School PTA and a board member of the Chamberlain House.

Jack is survived by his wife, Agnes Keller of Albany; children Loretta Stark of Roseville, Calif., Stan Keller, Arlene Gerger, Rod Keller, Randy Keller and Jackie Cray, all of Albany, and Jolene Keller-Kobayasi of Honolulu, Hawaii; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by son Richard "Ricky" Keller; daughter Marjorie Bennet
t; grandson Leonard Gerger; brothers Joseph Keller, Fred Keller and Joseph Keller, who was born after the first Joseph died; and sisters Clara Keller, Christina Heintz, Rose Schell, Lena Bruner, Elizabeth "Sally" Schneider and Theresa Bruner.

A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with a graveside service following at Willamette Memorial Park.
