Robert C. Tekampe, 66 of Locust Grove, VA formerly of Dale City, VA died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in 1949 to the late Leo and Evelyn Businger Tekampe. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church since 1979. He served proudly in the United States Marie Corps for 21 years. Robert was very active in his children’s sporting events and scouting. He was a loving husband and father, and happiest when he was with his family. He will be dearly missed. Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Tekampe and his sister, Jean Franklin.Robert is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Roberta Tekampe; his five sons, Michael (Deborah) Tekampe, Stephen (Adrienne) Tekampe, Ryan Tekampe, Kenneth (Laura) Tekampe, and Gregory Tekampe; three sisters, Margaret Dausman, Mary Cash, and Elizabeth Syvertsen; three brothers, John Tekampe, James Tekampe, and Michael Tekampe. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Michael Jr., Matthew, Anna, Samantha, and Aaron. Family and friends will be received at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA 22193 on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 5-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, 14160 Ferndale Road, Dale City VA 22193 on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery. |
