James J. Fullem, 78, of Ladysmith died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 at VCU Medical Center.
Mr. Fullem was a member of St. Mary's of the Annunciation where he served as usher for many years. Mr. Fullem was very active in Prince William and Caroline County politics, youth sports, schools and in his church. Among his many accomplishments was being named 1981 Dale City Citizen of the Year; charter member, current 4th degree, Knights of Columbus-John Paul I Council #7165 and founding member, long time BOD member and coach of Prince William Soccer, Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine A. Fullem; two children, James J. Fullem II (Mei) and a daughter, Margaret E. Fullem; two brothers, Donald and F. William Fullem; seven grandchildren, Brian K. Fullem, Jude B., Catherine P., Madison E. MacKenzie J. and Samantha J. Mandes and Victoria L. Elliott; and two great-grandsons, Dante M. Fullem and James J. Martino.
A funeral mass will be held 1:00 PM Sat. Mar. 4, 2017 at St. Mary of the Annunciation, Ladysmith With Father Jay Biber officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. |
