BUFFALO GROVE - Richard N. Theriault passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Northwest Community Hospital. He was born on March 24, 1931 in Chicago, to Josephine and Clifford Theriault. Richard was a Korean War Veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Grove Council, a longtime usher at St. Mary Parish in Buffalo Grove, and a diehard Cubs fan. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Colleen (nee Driscoll); children, John (Sandra) Theriault, Barbara (Eric) Zarnikow, Denise Delisio, and Tom (Cheryl) Theriault; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Larry (Edna) Theriault. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sister Mary Augusta, O.P.; and his brother, Clifford (Patricia) Theriault. Private family services will be held at St. Mary Church in Buffalo Grove. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, IL, for School Support or Men's Club. Masses are also appreciated. |
