Dr. David Kreutz is a seasoned educator with 30 years of experience teaching Human Anatomy/Physiology, Biological Sciences, and Physical Chemistry. His dissertation on “The Pedagogy of Human Anatomy and Physiology for the human heart and kidneys†earned him a doctorate from Northcentral University in San Diego, California. Dr. Kreutz is on the Board of Directors for Saint Joseph Catholic Academy (SJCA) and is the Director of Education at SJCA.
During his tenure in education, Dr. Kreutz received the highest honors bestowed by the United States government, The Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching, presented by President George W. Bush. Dr. Kreutz has also been honored with the Advocate Aurora Health’s “Aurora Star,†Senator Herb Kohl’s Fellowship Award, State of Wisconsin Citation of Excellence, State of Wisconsin Business Friend of Education Award, SE Wisconsin Educator Hall of Fame, American Chemical Society Teacher of the Year, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Nominee, and the Wisconsin Knights of Columbus Beacon Award winner for four consecutive years bringing in over 100 new members.
Dr. Kreutz has been a Knight of Columbus for ten years. He has been a District Warden (67) for seven years, Deputy Grand Knight for six years, Program Director for six years, and a Grand Knight (GK) for three years. During the past three years as GK, Council 973 has provided 361 programs in the areas of Faith, Family, Life, and Community, and in the past 2 years, 6 of these programs have received the Wisconsin State Program Award. For this remarkable effort, Council 973 received the State Deputy Award and the Complete Council Award.
State Advocate David and Lady Indus reside in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. They have a son Ian Crawford (Knight) and daughter-in-law Lady Amanda who also live in Pleasant Prairie. David and Indus enjoy competitive dancing, skiing/snowboarding, boating, and caring for their three dogs. The couple can often be seen driving around town in David’s 1937 Ford F-100 show car.
