Brother Carlos was born in Azules de Parale, Mexico. He grew up in El Paso Texas and moved to California at age nineteen. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Josefina Gameros in May of 1963. They have three children, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Carlos was a Knight of Columbus member and a Grand Knight four times, twice in Los Angeles and twice in Apple Valley. Carlos worked in retail for many years and then moved to the restaurant business for 20 years. He moved to Apple Valley in June 1998 along with his son Jesse and his family.
He was loved by many family and friends. He was extremely devoted to Our Blessed Mother. His motto was "I am the greatest and his favorite song was "El Rey."
