We'll be going to the Knop Family Farm/Nature Reserve here in Louisville for a day of outdoor fun, including Father Bill Hammer celebrating Mass at 4:00 PM with Dinner to follow.
Time: We will open the gates around Noon and run until dark (the meat rubbing and smoking starts even far earlier!)
What: We will have "Fishing with Family", hiking, and just good old fashioned fun.
What do you need to bring:
Chairs &/or Blankets to sit on.
Sun Screen & Bug Repellant
Beverages of your choice
Coverred Dish or Dessert to share with others.
Fishing pole(s) (Brian's got extra if you don't have one)
Cards, Games, Corn hole, lawn darts etc.
Card Tabie(s) if you have them.
Also, be sure you dress comfortable. You are encouraged to assist at Mass on the Farm.

Dinner after Mass - BBQ Pork & Brisket, hamburgers, hot dogs and all those Side Dishes and Desserts we mentioned above.

House rules: No Dogs, No Guns, No parking on the cut grass, No Exceptions.

Directions to The Knop Farm: They DO NOT have a street address - if you are using a GPS, use either 2103 or 2105 Long Run Road, Louisville, KY 40245 as closest address.
From Shelbyville Road:
East on Shelbyville Rd about 3.7 miles beyond The Gene Snyder Freeway to Long Run Road. Turn left onto Long Run Road and travel about 3.2 miles on Long Run Rd. On your right you will see a mail box with the address 2103 and there is a guard rail just beyond the mail box. At the very end of the guard rail there is a driveway, turn right into the drive way and you will see a red farm fence set back from the road. Drive past the red farm fence to the picnic.
From Aiken Road:
Turn onto Long Run Road and travel about 1 mile. On your left you will see a group of mail boxes together, one is 2105 and one is 2104 plus a few others. Go a few feet beyond the mail boxes and you will see a driveway with a Red Farm Fence on your left (the fence is set back from the road). Turn left into the driveway and drive past the red farm fence to the picnic.
