SK Bro. Benjamin T. Campana is honored as the Knights of the Month for May 2026. He has been a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus for an impressive 59 years, beginning and completing all his degrees in the Philippines.
Leadership and Service in the Knights of Columbus
Bro. Benjamin T. Campana has served as Past Grand Knight of Father Michael J. McGivney Council 15034 in Valinda, CA. His leadership extended further as Past Faithful Navigator of Father Felix J. Penna Assembly 80 in Hacienda Heights, CA.
In addition, Bro. Campana was formerly the District Deputy of the San Gabriel Valley Chapter and is now a proud member of San Gorgonio Council 5392.
Active Participation and Community Involvement
Bro. Campana demonstrates his commitment through active participation in food projects and regular attendance at General Membership Meetings of Knights of Columbus Council 5392. He continues to be an engaged member of Council 5392.
Beyond his involvement with the Knights, Bro. Campana also contributes to the Parish Community as an active Mass Coordinator Ministry member.

Council 5392 is proud to honor SK Edilberto Ongpin as the Knight of the Month for February 2026. This recognition is a testament to Brother Ediberto’s unwavering commitment and service to the community.
Brother Edilberto has been an active parishioner of the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic community, serving the Beaumont and Banning area since 2005. His dedication to the parish is evident through his long-standing participation and support. Since 2007, Ediberto has been a devoted member of the Hospitality (Usher) Ministry, welcoming parishioners and assisting during services. In 2008, he founded the Families in Christ Jesus Community (FCJC) Ministry at Beaumont St. Kateri, further enriching the spiritual life of the parish. As an active volunteer with the Knights of Columbus, Brother Edilberto has played a significant role in fundraising campaigns, supporting the needs and growth of St. Kateri Catholic Church.
Brother Edilberto’s commitment extends to his continuous devotion to the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, which he attends every Monday of each month. His spirit of service is further shown through his volunteer work, providing alms and food to the homeless and homebound every Sunday. The dedication and compassion displayed by SK Edilberto Ongpin exemplify the values of the Knights of Columbus and serve as an inspiration to all members of the community.

The Council 5392 proudly recognizes SK Alex M. Castanon as the Knights of the Month for January 2026. Brother Alex Castanon currently serves as our Past Chapter President and is the Chairman of the Knights of Columbus California State Life Program.
Brother Alex Castanon has consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication and generosity through his active involvement in various service projects. His commitment is evident in his efforts to provide essential resources, such as wheelchairs and ultrasound machines, to individuals in need. Additionally, he has supported outreach initiatives at Pregnancy Resource Centers, positively impacting numerous families within our community.
Beyond his service projects, Brother Alex Castanon has been a driving force in promoting the Pro-Life Cause. He has actively participated in and supported Walk for Life events throughout California, inspiring others to join in these important efforts. His leadership in these activities exemplifies the Knights of Columbus' dedication to faith in action programs and highlights his role as a model of service within our organization.

The Council #5392 proudly honors Federico Senerez, his wife Leonora, and their children Ma. Regina, Federico III, and Joanna for their significant service to the community. As Sector Head of Families in Christ Jesus Community at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish (Beaumont and Banning), Federico's leadership has notably benefited parish life. An active Knight, he supports fundraising efforts and ministries,
furthering our council’s mission and strengthening the parish community.
MICHAEL LU GRAIN
Council #5392 also wishes to recognize our Outside Guard, Michael Lu Grain, who has recently returned home after serving in the US Air Force. Michael has been highly active in council meetings, food activities, and fundraising efforts. He continues to demonstrate dedication through his involvement in various ministries within Council #5392. We are grateful for his service and enthusiastic participation, which strengthens our community and inspires fellow members.

Our Council 5392 recognizes our very own Warden Lorenzo M Chavez who has been very active on meetings, fund raising, parish food activities of the knights of Columbus. He has paved its way as assigned chairman in Fish Fry food committee.

Our Council # 5392 recognizes SK Fabian Liendo III, wife Olivia and four children as the Knights of the Month for September 2025. He is a US Air Force veteran having served in Viet Nam. He and Olivia attend Mass every Sunday with their Grandchildren and other family members. Brother Fabian is a devoted Knight and serves presently as our 2yr trustee, Community Director, a member of our Council Exemplification team, and a 4th degree Knight who lives out the Principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.

Our Council 5392 recognizes our very own past Grand Knight Jess Ocampo. He has served our San Gorgonio Council 5392 for two years as a GK. With his motto "Let's make it happen" has set multi awards and recognitions with our council. His biggest contribution gave its way to what our council 5392 is all
about. The Double Star Council Award.

Our Council recognizes Oscar Silva as Knight of the Month for March. Knight Oscar has been active in the fund raising activities of the Council serving as chairman of Chicken Dinner event and in the music ministry at St. Mary’s Church in the Morongo Reservation.

Pete Mallari
Our Council recognizes Pete L. Mallari as Knight of the Month for January. As a new member, Pete took the initiative to buy the microphone for our meetings and has been invaluable in improving its contents or format on our website and monthly newsletters, which has won awards and recognition. He has been actively supporting our members’ communications through emails and meetings. Pete's dedication and proactive efforts have greatly enhanced the quality of our gatherings and outreach. He has been a very important asset to Council 5392.
Julio Silva
Our Council recognizes Julio Silva as Knight of the Month for December for helping the Youth Group strengthen their Christian beliefs thru Vacation Bible Schools and involvement in two students getting grants for college admission.
Michael DiMatteo
SK Michael DiMatteo spearheads the quarterly Blood Drive of Council 5392 and Mass for People with Special Needs of the Parish. He is the Life Director of the Council and actively volunteers in its fund raising events and the Ministries fair.
James Middendorf
SK James Middendorf is a past grand knight and has held several official positions in Council 5392. He chaired the Fish Fry Committee for over four years.
John Hasha
Knight John Hasha is the Council’s Trustee and has held several positions such as deputy grand knight and chancellor. His devotion to the church as a Lectern serves as a model for the new knights to follow.
Nunez Fidel
Knight Fidel M. Nunez is a long time member of Council 5392 serving various positions, presently Chancellor. He can be counted on to help in the pancake breakfast, fish fry, chicken, spaghetti and Taco dinners. He is very active in various ministries of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church.

Knight Hilario Luna is a long time member of Council 5392 serving as its Treasurer for the past two years having managed our funds well. He can be counted on to help in the pancake breakfast, fish fry, chicken, spaghetti and Taco dinners. Hilario and his wife, Gracy are very active in various ministries of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church.
David O’Donnell
SK David O’Donnell is a long time member Knight of Council 5392 and can be counted to help in the pancake breakfast and fish fry dinners. For years, he headed the Exemplification ceremonies of new member knights of council 5392.
Robert Fontes
SK Robert P. Fontes is the Council’s Financial Secretary for over 6 years, a past grand knight and our lead cook for our lenten fish dinners. His devotion to the Church and leadership skills sets an example for the new members. Our Council is blessed to have a member of many years , and to the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Community exemplifying Catholic family values.
Mike Young
Brother Mike Young has been a member of Knights of Columbus since March 2002 and our lead chef lead for our lenten fish dinners. He also has been a parish confirmation and youth leader. His devotion to the Church and leadership skills sets an example for the youth with counseling at youth retreats and CCD classes. Our Council is blessed to have a member like Brother Mike.r many years , and to the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Community exemplifying Catholic family values.

In recognition of Brother Joe Kollmann’s significant contributions to Council 5392 as Officer and volunteer in many service programs for over twenty years, and to the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Community as an active parishioner. Brother Kollman has contributed his time and funds to the success of our Pancake Breakfast held last Sunday, Oct. 29th at Beaumont Hall.

The Knights of Columbus Council 5392 is proud to recognize the Ceralde family as our Family of the Month for April 2026. This distinction is given in appreciation of their unwavering commitment and dedicated service to our parish community. Bro. Johnson and Nora Ceralde have three children: Calvin, Brant Jake, and Gabriel. Calvin and Brant Jake have completed their college education and are now working, while Gabriel is currently in his third year of college. Johnson’s mother, Aurora Ceralde, lives with them and consistently joins the family in their church services.
Bro. Johnson and Nora Ceralde have faithfully served as members of the Eucharistic Ministry since 2010. Their devotion and reliability have been a constant source of support and inspiration to fellow parishioners.

ELOISA REANTASO FAMILY
The Family of the Month for March 2026 is awarded to Eloisa Reantaso Family in recognition of their outstanding dedication and service to St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish. Eloisa Reantaso serves as a Eucharistic Minister of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, where she fulfills the role of Ministry Coordinator. Her husband Sonny is with our Lord years ago. He used to serve as Mass Coordinator with Rick Diaz in Banning Parish Church. Eloisa has to children, Sam and Christiana. Sam coordinates and controls the TV screens in church at 10:30am mass in Banning and was doing it when the church was installed. Sam is in his last year attending UCLA. He is working as ER nurse at Redlands Community Hospital. Christiana also is attending UCLA and majoring in Psychology. Christiana was an Alter Server during middle school and high school. The family has been serving at the Banning Parish for more than seven years.
Family Contributions
Her children, Sam, manages and supervises the TV screens during the 10:30 AM Mass at Banning Parish Church, a role he has held since the installation of technology. He is in his final year at UCLA and works as an ER nurse at Redlands Community Hospital.
Christiana is pursuing a degree in Psychology at UCLA. During her middle school and high school years, she served as an altar server at the parish, demonstrating her commitment to community and faith.

The Reantaso family faithfully served the Banning Parish for over seven years, making a lasting impact through their dedication and involvement.

The Knights of Columbus Council 5392 is proud to recognize the Kisa family as our Family of the Month for February 2026. This honor is bestowed upon Kenneth, Arsanti, and Takumi Kisa in acknowledgment of their remarkable service and unwavering dedication to St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish. Since joining our parish community in 2013, the Kisa family has made significant contributions through their active involvement and commitment.
Kenneth has faithfully served as an usher, primarily at the Sunday 4:30 PM Mass, a role he has embraced since approximately 2019. His consistent presence and welcoming demeanor have greatly enhanced the worship experience for parishioners and guests alike.
Arsanti is a dedicated member of the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Ministry. Additionally, she has served as an altar server, typically assisting at the Sunday 4:30 PM Mass. Arsanti’s commitment to these roles has spanned the past nine years, reflecting her deep devotion to the parish community.
Takumi, a senior in high school, is preparing to embark on the next chapter of his academic journey. He plans to attend college in the fall, where he intends to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Takumi’s aspirations and achievements are a source of pride for both his family and the parish.

MARK & NATAZIA TUMAMBING FAMILY
The Family of the Month for January 2026 is awarded to Bro. Mark Tumambing and the Tumambing Family in recognition of their outstanding dedication and service to St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish.
Mark Tumambing serves as a full-time employee of the parish in his role as Ministry Coordinator. In addition to coordinating parish ministries, Mark directs the church choir, organized the children’s choir, and presides over the parish’s monthly ministry meetings—demonstrating strong leadership and deep commitment to our parish community.
His wife, Natazia Tumambing, is an active member of the Eucharistic Ministry, faithfully serving and enriching the spiritual life of the parish.
Mark’s parents, Noel and Kellie Tumambing, are both active members of the church choir, with Kellie also serving in the Eucharistic Ministry. Additionally, Mark’s aunt, Leilanie Tumambing, is an active choir member. Together, the Tumambing family exemplifies a strong and collective commitment to parish ministries.
For their exemplary service and deep involvement, Council 5392 wholeheartedly recommends the Tumambing Family for the Family of the Month recognition.

Our Council# 5392 is proud to recognize the Bautista family for Family of the Month. Pablo and Victoria Bautista, with their children Michelle, Angel, Jesus, and Moses, have been dedicated members of our parish for eight years. They exemplify service, humility, and devotion in their roles as ushers, Eucharistic ministers, and altar servers, regularly helping at both English and Spanish Masses. Their consistent involvement and willingness to serve highlight their faith and commitment to the community. Rick and Gina Diaz and Family has lived in Banning for 71 years. Rick has served as the Sunday 10:30 AM Mass coordinator in Banning for 31 years and is also a member of the Building and Extension Committee at Banning Parish. Together, Rick and Gina have dedicated the past 10 years volunteering in the Parish Food Pantry and Gift Shop.

Bernadette is the Confirmation Coordinator of St. Kateri Parish while her son, Anthony, plays the guitar for masses at the Banning Church. Council 5392 recognizes Dennis and Rhonda Radzik as Family of the Month for January. They are both Eucharistic ministers for many years. Dennis is the Beaumont coordinator for the Eucharistic Ministers and schedules for upcoming masses and trains them.They are an ideal model of Catholic family values.

Council 5392 recognizes Ariel and Dali Buenaventura as Family of the Month for December. They are both Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Sacristans, attending weekly 4:30 pm Sunday mass at Beaumont Church with son Arthur, a Lector and daughter, a member of our Music Ministry. They are an ideal model of Catholic family values.

Our Council 5392 recognizes as Gabino and Marcela Sanchez as Family of the Month for November. They are very active members of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Community, attending weekly mass at Beaumont Church, providing significant contributions to the parish and model of Catholic family values. Gabino coordinates and leads the Youth Group of the Parish.

Our Council 5392 recognizes Angel and Carlethy Garcia for their significant contributions to the Catholic Community and model of Catholic family values. Carlethy coordinates the Spanish Lectors and is very active in the Consejo Hispano.

Our Council 5392 recognizes David and Ruth Madon for their significant contributions to the Catholic Community and model of Catholic family values. Ruth coordinates Daily and Sunday Mass at St. Kateri Tekakwitha and the Friday Mass at The Lakes - Assisted Living and Memory Care. David serves as Usher and supports Ruth in her work with the church and priests.

Our Council 5392 recognizes Ed and Ofie Ongpin as the Family of the Month for April. They started the Ministry of Families in Christ Jesus in 2008. They were certified as Marriage Preparation ministers by the Diocese of San Bernardino/Riverside. Members of the Ministry to the Homeless and Adoration Chapel worshippers. Ed is presently the Family Director of Council 5392. Ed and Ofie live out the Principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.

Our Council 5392 recognizes SK David and Carol Feeney as the Family of the Month for March. They are both active in the pancake breakfast and fish fry dinners. David is a past grand knight and a 4th degree Knight who lives out the Principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.
MIDDENDORF
Our Council 5392 recognizes SK James A. Middendorf and wife Rita as the Family of the Month for February. He is a past grand knight and managed the Fist Fry dinners as chairperson for many years. Rita is a past regent of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Brother James has been a devoted Knight and serves presently as our Faith Director, and a 4th degree Knight who lives out the Principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.
LIENDO
Our Council 5392 recognizes SK Fabian Liendo III, wife Olivia and four children as the Family of the Month for January. He is a US Air Force veteran having served in Viet Nam. He and Olivia attend Mass every Sunday with their Grandchildren and other family members. Brother Fabian has been a devoted Knight and serves presently as our 2yr trustee, Community Director, a member of our Council Exemplification team, and a 4th degree Knight who lives out the Principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism
VALDIVIA
Our Council 5392 recognizes our Brother Valdivia, wife and children as the Family of the Month for December. Brother Anthony and his two sons cooked and served pancake breakfast and fish fry during lent hosted by Council 5392. The Valdivia family is a shining example of a good Catholic family serving the St. Kateri Tekakwitha community needs and activities.
Jesse Jimenez
Our Council 5392 recognizes our Brother Jesse Jimenez, wife and four children as the Family of the Month for November. Brother Jesse is presently serving in the Middle East with the Army National Guard as Warrant Officer. His wife, Blanca, serves a a Catechist for the Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the 10:30 am Mass in Banning. The Jimenez family is a shining example of being a good Catholic Family and Patriot for our Nation.
