Greetings from the Bishop Alden John Bell Assembly 3451

Sir Knights of our Assembly - Please transfer out ASAP!

As earlier reported, our assembly has been placed in a suspended status due to member inactivity, likely due to the lack of need for an assembly in our area. However, Worthy Master TW Starkweather has instructed us that he will not close our assembly until every last Sir Knight has completed a transfer from our assembly to another. In order to put this issue to rest, PLEASE complete a Form 4 for transfer to another assembly. Form 4's can be obtained from your council financial secretary, or from SK Roger Tafoya or SK Norv Latreille. Local receiving assemblies include Bishop Manogue Assembly 50 in Sacramento, Saint John Paul II Assembly 3504 at Good Shepherd, and Bishop Manogue Assembly 2336 in Galt. Please complete your transfer as soon as possible, even if you are not very involved. You MUST complete a transfer in order for our assembly to be inactivated (as we requested!) and our worthy officers can put this behind them to more fully engage in their new assemblies. For additional information, please contact PFN Roger Tafoya. (added 4/24/19)

Our Assembly is officially suspended, as of January 14, 2019.

At long last, we've held our final meeting, with Worthy Master TW Starkweather and Worthy Senior District Marshall Tim Fukuda in attendance. At the end of the meeting, our assembly was place in suspended status. The Worthy Master will recruit other members from throughout the district and lift the suspension when he has enough members, and reactivate the assembly with the same name and number at a location that proves most beneficial to the members recruited. The Worthy Master agreed with the consensus of our current assembly that suspension is the right move, due to our small size and diminutive participation. FN Roger will lead a committee to contact each member of our assembly to facilitate their transfer to other assemblies. The Worthy Master thanked all members present for their noble efforts in attempting to rebuild our assembly, even though it proved to be ineffective. However, our name and number will live on as the Worthy Master will rebuild the assembly. We thank PFN Roger for his enthusiasm and leadership in our final two and a half years. (updated 1/14/19)
